I am a registered independent, but will vote for anyone not democrat or republican. The cons. and dems. are both working for the same master and have no real differences beyond their words. This was displayed by Obama supporting NAFTA and the Free trade agreement after publicly denouncing it.

Ralph Nader, Ron Paul, and Bob Barr are truly the best hope we have in America today. They are what I believe to be the last civic hope we have.

So instead of voting for someone who truly represents my beliefs I will vote for Satan or one of his demons.

Please explain the rationality of that to me. "The Man" is "The Man" no matter the political party or color of his skin or even his sex. Those in positions of high power have been strategically put there for a reason.

To further explain my above point, if we fail as civicly active citizens to elect one of these few remaining honest people we will be dooming ourselves.

The conservatives and democrats like to give the show like they are opposing each other, but when it comes down to it they are creating the same oppressive laws. See the truth brothers before it is too late. I do not wish to be standing by anyones side when we have to go to war for our country.

I look at their past and see a voting trend. I won't choose a party because they are really one and the same now when it comes to agenda.

If I ever get to ask them a question it will be on their stance on 2A. That will pretty much say enough to let me know what I want to give them. or not give them in most cases.

I am not going to candy coat it because you already know this, but what makes you have faith in a third or fourth or fifth Party? For I believe that they, too, will become subject to the same misuses of power that the current two are. You see, Jefferson, Franklin, et al. had it right. No. I still maintain that we must not divide our votes if we are ever going to take our country back. And while severely flawed, the Republican Party is the only possible Party to affect true change. The change that you and I and most Americans was seeking. We need to Unite, not divide over emotional urgings.

Well rat I wish your hopes were right. BUT THEY ARE NOT! I wanted to support McCain, but he was saying the exact same things as Obama. The major candidates are puppets for the Bilderberg group, which is un-American in every sense of the meaning. Historically the Republicans and Democrats have overthrown 3rd world democracies because they were going to raise the price of oil or natural gas on us to create a living wage for their people.

Venezuela in 99', the CIA started spreading propaganda around the country and teamed up with a few of the rich to get a group of demonstrators together. A group of Chavez supporters ended up on the left side of an overpass while the other group was on the right. All camera angles, but one showed Chavez supporters shooting down off the bridge and then was said on the news to have been shooting at helpless demonstrators. As it would turn out the one camera angle from above showed both groups above shooting down at the sipers on an empty street.

In this 2 day ordeal Chavez was nearly removed from the country after being taken captive by a U.S. licensed plane. Who was involved here?

Who do you think runs these operations? Who funds them? Who puts dictators in as in Guatemala? Who causes nuns to be beaten and raped? Who is really spreading propaganda? The CIA has been doing this stuff since the 50's while spreading propaganda to twist the real stories to "national security"?

Beware of the "Republicans" saving us. They have done nothing, but opress in their history, us as well as foreign sovereign nations. Please don't believe me. Do your own research. I too was a conservative, or so I thought. When I found out the TRUTH I moved to the middle where they really are regular people with our views.

Agreed, Mccain is one of "them" When I started this site last September I was a Republican, fact is I still voted for Mccain in November but now I'm not affiliated with either party. They take turns having their way with us. The two party system as it exists today is a sham

Agreed. I am not denying this fact. What I am saying is that it will take years and years to entrench a third party. By that time, we will have ceased to exist. At least as we recognize America today. We have a much much better chance at overhauling the Republican Party and remain viable in the process. Perhaps even winning an election!

One must have the control of Congress in order to stop/write new laws. We can never hope to have term limits, lobbyist restrictions, pork control, no lawyers hold office, etc. unless we can gain power. We had better do it quickly too! We don't have years. We may not have months! It may already be too late to avoid the violent path.

I think everyone here knows where I stand and what I believe.

All of this has merit. All of this is for naught if something doesn't happen soon. We will be teaching our children how to fight guerrilla style in caves before we can regain control of the parties IMO.

I hope not but time is going to let us know in NO uncertain terms where all of this is headed. We are writing history now as we type away. Maybe sometime down the road this site will be a part of a database similar to the Federalist/Anti-federalist Papers of the Independence War Era.(No I am not that much of an Egoist but you have to admit anything is possible.)
