Kevin over at the Smallest Minority has a breakdown on the BOR and his opinion on how well it has held up over the last 218 years.

I agree with some of his statements and disagree with others but that is what liberty is about.

My biggest disagreement is on the Cruel and unusual punishment, excessive bail/denial of bail. Cohesive bonds of the People with the ability to disagree.


One of the biggest problems is that justice in this country has lifted the blindfold and started ruling with the gavel of emotion and profit. In other words, it has become a distinct part of the legislative branch and no longer works for the PEOPLE(if it ever did)

Still, to all read the works of our founders and try to see how they made a great experiment work so well, despite the manipulations of the power hungry. We are the ones that fell asleep on watch, not them.
