Ron Paul is a very smart man. Very knowledgeable and articulate. I think he would have been a much better choice than McCain.

I also think that Dennis Kucinich would have been a better choice that Sen. Obama, and not just because we share membership in the same Union. (There's that word again, Unk. Do you need time to wash out your eyes because you've seen it in print? No, I don't think Rep. Kucinich is a Teamster, but one can belong to more than one Union. Oh, shucks. There's that word again.)

The best one can do is to vote one's conscience.

So I post a couple of semi-anti-union sentiments, and now the very word is poison to my eyes.

Amazing.

How DO you make such leaps in illogic?

Back on topic...
I think Ron Paul would have been a better choice a as well.
What I fear now, is that IF (notice, I said "IF") McCain has any lead going into November 4, Ron Paul will get enough republican votes to cost McCain the election.
I doubt that many democrats would vote for him to have the same effect on Obama's chances.

Default semi-anti-union sentiments

Your comments don't strike me as being anything less than totally anti-Union.

It's a free country, at least for now, and you can believe what you want to believe.

I, for now, have the same right.

And, yes, the topic is Ron Paul and I think he's a good man. If there were more folks like him I might not have as much disdain for his colleagues.

Default Election results

Obama pop vote count 66,882,230

McCain pop vote count 58,343,671
and now I can't seem to find the other numbers.
I Remember though that even as a write in Ron Paul recieved about 20,000 votes nation wide. Not enough to have swayed the vote one way or another but a good showing in IMO. I heard that one electoral vote went to him but I can't seem to find anything on that now either.
If he had stuck to the race longer I think he would have made some real headway. I do understand his reluctance to switch partys though.
If he is going to actively run on the 2012 ticket I am going to continue pushing for him on the ground now. Subtlety for now though as I know everyone is sick to death of hearing about it now.

I don't know it for a fact but I read many states don't count write-in votes and Dr Paul asked not to be written in?

I've given up on the Democrats, even though I voted for Obama. There is new information out that that scares me about him as well. If Ron Paul runs again, I will vote for him. For now, I'm keeping my eye on our President-elect.

I've pretty much given up on the entire election process. Many believe elections are rigged. I'm not sure
