OLYMPIC REJECTION: OBAMA LOSES HIS WEAPON OF MASS DISTRACTION.

UNEMPLOYMENT CONTINUES TO SKYROCKET: MORE PROOF THAT “BIG GOVERNMENT IS TOO BIG TO SUCCEED.”

Obama Desperately Needed Olympics to Distract the Masses from Deepening Economic Disaster.

Experts love to say that certain big companies and banks are “too big to fail.” The reality is our federal government is too big to succeed. It's all going down in flames for Obama- “the anointed one.” He has proven once again that government spending has failed miserably. The economy continues to crumble. Unemployment continues to rise (another 200,000+ announced today). The full (ie truthful) unemployment picture is now at a unimaginable 17%. Sales of cars- without the “Cash for Clunkers” giveaway- continue to collapse. Banking experts know that a new wave of residential housing foreclosures is on the way. Worse, a complete collapse of commercial real estate is starting, as landlords of office buildings, strip malls, and shopping centers hand the keys to banks. How do I know? It's happening now in Las Vegas- and we all know “what happens in Vegas, doesn't stay in Vegas.” Consumer spending is getting worse- small business owner friends of mine report sales are dropping off a cliff- the worst they've seen yet in this 2 year depression.

As the economic disaster deepens, the White House and Fed lie to us all and tell us that the recession is over. It's either ignorance, delusion, irrational exuberance, or outright fabrication. You decide.

I believe the bad news above is a sign that not only is the recession not over, but the pain is deepening. We are not at the end, but rather only at the beginning. Before this is over, it will be called “The Great Depression II” in the history books. All of Obama's big government intervention has failed. Worse, his irresponsible and incomprehensible spending has made it far worse. Government screws up everything it touches- only this time it is our economic future on the line.

And President Obama's reaction to the dark storm clouds approaching? He chooses to fly off to Denmark to lobby for the Olympics. Huh? Is this man kidding? Think of all the wasted airplane fuel that will contribute to global warming- all for a one day trip to discuss…sports? What, no furor from liberal environmentalists? What a surprise.

My educated guess is that Obama and his cynical political advisors desperately needed this victory. They realized that Obama's sinking polls needed an instant boost to stop the bleeding. Worse, they desperately NEEDED to be awarded a Chicago Olympics as a distraction for the masses because of what is coming down the road- economic Armageddon. But Obama's latest weapon of mass distraction is now scuttled.

What would the Olympics have meant for Obama? More “Weapons of Mass Distraction.” More government spending of money we don't have. More rip-off of American taxpayers and future generations of our children. More bribes and payoffs for Obama's corrupt friends in Chicago. More overpaid jobs for Obama's union cronies. And one giant distraction for those Americans too ignorant to understand that Rome is burning, while they are distracted by the pageantry of a meaningless Olympic event.

Well it didn't happen. We got lucky. The world saved us from another event that would plunge us even further into insolvency and bankruptcy. Even Obama's global fans are getting sick of “the Anointed One.” This Olympic rejection was an embarassing global slap in the face. The world just handed Obama the worst defeat of his Presidency. He must be in shock. My advice: Get used to it Mr. President- I have a gut instinct that far worse news is coming down the road.

The clown is still campaigning. In addition to everything you say above, was the hope that he would be running again in 2016. What!? Yes, that's right. He was hoping to campaign at that time, using the Olympics as a sign of his omnipotence. His own personal backdrop. What a scam artist Barry, the Kenyan, is!

Default One Single Term

Administration Loses Bid to Exclude Fox News From Pay Czar Interview

The Obama administration on Thursday tried to make "pay czar" Kenneth Feinberg available for interviews to every member of the White House pool except Fox News. But the Washington bureau chiefs of the five TV networks decided that none of their reporters would interview Feinberg unless Fox News was included.

This administration cannot deny it is going to try anything to take us towards a Venezuelan style Tyranny. Obama will not last but one single term. If he is lucky. Will the Democrats rid themselves of him for us?

If only. Here is a proposal by a clear headed thinker on the webs.
Pajamas TV - Afterburner with Bill Whittle - Throw The Bums Out

Of course H. Clinton is being viewed favorably right now. Barry is keeping her tied up in a closet until its time to trot her out when people start asking where the Secretary of State is hiding. He gave her that position to clip her wings back and neutralize her as an opponent.

I am rather surprised that the Media is starting to back Fox. Guess someone realized that if they don't stand together they are all going to be eating out of the same trough behind the White House instead of at the tables .

2011 APEC meeting to be held in Honolulu

Pacific Business News (Honolulu) - by Jim Kelly

The 2001 meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation will be held in Honolulu, a prestigious international event that local leaders hope will boost Hawaii's stature as a place to do business.

The choice of Honolulu was announced Saturday night in Singapore by President Obama, who told APEC leaders their next meeting will be in "my home state of Hawaii."

Obama, along with at least 19 heads of state, Cabinet ministers, business leaders and other officials are expected to attend the next APEC summit, which will be held Nov. 12-20, 2011 at the Hawaii Convention Center. As many as 10,000 people may attend.

Hawaii officials have been lobbying aggressively for more than a year to snag the APEC meeting, which brings together leaders from 21 nations, including the U.S., China, Japan, Australia, the Philippines, Mexico, Russia and Korea to discuss trade, investment and other economic issues.

"Hawaii has never had anything remotely approaching an international meeting" of this scope, said Chalres Morrison, president of the East-West Center in Honolulu.

Morrison said the meeting has the potential to establish long-term business contacts between Hawaii and APEC nations and will help define Honolulu as "a truly world-class international center."

Hawaii Tourism Authority president and CEO Mike McCartney said the meeting will be an antidote to "the preceived boondoggle effect" that taints Hawaii as a place where serious business meetings can't be held.

"The APEC meetings will dispel that misconception and position Hawaii as a global business destination," McCartney said in a statement. Hawaii's business and convention business has been especially hard-hit by the recession.

Los Angeles, New York and Miami were among the other U.S destins\ations competing fort he meeting, but after Obama's election last year, Hawaii was seen as having an edge.

For all of the hype surrounding the APEC summit meetings, The New York Times on Sunday described them as "not known for accomplishing much that is substantive."

"Many years, the most memorable moments include the photo opportunities, in which leaders wear colorful matching shirts," the Times said in a story about the Singapore summit.

This all leads to the question, "Will Obama still be the President?"

Obama threatens Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson, Close Offutt Air Force Base
If this story is true....dear leader and his administration should be at the very least immediately impeached and at most tried for treason...

Let's hope it is not for the sake of the nation but Glenn Beck is reporting at least 3 reliable sources for the information....as a retired AF member, even the threat of this type information is disgusting.... for those of you who aren't familiar with Offutt, it is the command center for the AF air ops...

http://citizenwells.wordpress.com/2009/12/15/obama-threatens-nebras...

IF this is verified, then Obama et al will be Impeached and tried for Treason when Republicans take control of Congress (next year) in 2010. If found guilty, the sentence should include jail time, for to restrict him to house arrest would enable him the opportunity to transfer sensitive and classified information to our enemies. At the time of trial, it will then be disclosed that he indeed was holding office under unlawful means. It will be proven there and then that he is not a natural born citizen or possibly even a citizen at all. Additional time should be given for that offense. This would also have adverse results for others in the mix. Does the name Pelosi ring a bell?

Like ringing the gong at 300m at the range.

Boonnngggg!

We are really living in interesting times and only time will tell how all of this falls out.

I have been posting some online 'speculative' fiction recently, these aren't predictions so much as warnings. The people writing them are not looking for these things to happen so much as warning us what is possible. Mike V has been working on "Absolved" which warns what could happen if the Federal Bureaus get it into their heads to start clamping down on people with nothing left to lose. "Enemies: Foriegn and Domestic" is a warning of what could happen if a Rogue Agent in the ATF started some black swan events. ( I am waiting for the second book to show up on my doorstep now. Highly recommended reading)
Only time will show us what path we are being forced down and that will determine which directions each of us takes as individuals. Like minds polarize to like areas and tactics so, who knows, we all may meet yet.
