Wasn't Bush's advice to Obama after the electon to "Take some time off"? Instead he is assembling a cabinet as we speak. Historically, most candidates do this in December and he just may be finished by then.
Personaly, I believe he shoud get two weeks for each of his first two years in office like the rest of us. Yes, I realize it's a difficult job and in the words of the great Super Chicken theme song "Fred, if you're afraid you'll have to overlook it, Besides you knew the job was dangerous when you took it " It's not like he sent in a resume on an unknown position.... If he does a good job of selecting his cabinet and advisors, he should not need to take a day off until he leaves office. He does have a lot of work to do!
I have been a Republican and voted Republican for the last 28 years (since I was 18 and I voted for Regan) but this country needs something different to happen in DC and apparently the majority of the rest of the counrty thinks so too. Even the kids on Nickelodeon picked Obama.
As long as he doesn't appoint Oprah to ANYTHING, I think we will be OK!
